PLAYHOUSE NIGHTCLUB THE HOLLYWOOD CLUB VENUE

If you have ever been to Hollywood, you have heard of Playhouse Nightclub — if not because of the venerable buzz then definitely by the bustle of the line outside that can be seen on any typical night from Hollywood Blvd. But don’t let the line intimidate you, there’s a reason why the Los Angeles party elite don’t mind the wait.

They say Playhouse Nightclub is a Vegas-style club. One step inside Playhouse Nightclub will certainly get you partying late into the night Vegas-style. It doesn't look like much outside (you will know it by the old theater-esque entrance). But once you hear the bass pumping and the electro house roaring, get ready to party like there's no tomorrow. The Playhouse stands out because of its entertainment. The DJ always pumps up the crowd-pleasers, and the energetic, danceable tunes will have you bopping your head all night. As a little icing on the cake, they feature go-go dancers and other performers throughout the night. One night you might have ribbon dancers, another you may have go-go girls that give Olympic gymnasts a run for their money. The go-go dancers are some of the best around and a major reason to go! Nearly every night they spin a different music – house and disco on Monday nights, special performances by the Playhouse Family on Thursday nights, Dirty Sexy House on Friday nights, hip hop and electro on Saturdays, and live performances by the Spazmatics on Sunday nights. This well-kept, lush little secret is the place to get down, let loose, and enjoy some high-class entertainment rarely found in Hollywood clubs today.

About DJ Politik - There are very few DJs in the industry today that can dauntlessly rock a high-energy mega club in Las Vegas or Miami and then orchestrate a tasteful, sophisticated soundtrack for an exclusive, celeb-studded affair the very next day. Born and raised in Los Angeles, DJ Politik has quickly climbed atop a short list of open-format DJs called upon by elite nightclubs, luxury brands, and celebrities across the globe. He is known for his keen ability to integrate the perfect balance of hip-hop, house, rock, pop, nu-disco, indie dance & classic records into his sets. This unique ability has brought him recognition in the industry both in the U.S. and abroad. “To me, music is a universal language. It’s so ambiguous and speaks to every person differently. The way you present it to your audience is just as important as the actual music. I keep my sets as clean and crisp as possible, all while keeping the art of DJing alive with scratches, doubles, loops, creative medleys, and strong mic presence.”
